These are Rice Seeds (Mochi Rice Seeds).

We cultivated and harvested rice without using chemical fertilizers or machinery such as tractors. Threshing was done using a foot-powered thresher.
We are offering these to those interested in rice cultivation or growing rice in buckets.

We counted the seeds and found approximately 200 seeds per 5g, which is a sufficient amount for growing rice in a bucket.
As these are hand-selected, they may contain stems other than seeds, empty husks, or seeds with damage or cracks. Please understand. We will include slightly more than 60.0g. We are listing them as New from the perspective of being new, unused seeds.
The quantity of seeds can be adjusted, so please contact us if you have a desired amount.

You can find various methods for growing rice in buckets by searching for bucket rice.
The procedure is very simple.
① Soaking: Change the water daily. It is said that germination occurs when the temperature exceeds 100℃ (this is likely a typo and should refer to a specific germination temperature, not boiling point).
② Plant the germinated seeds in a planter or similar container.
Once the sprouts emerge and have 5 leaves, transplant them into a bucket.
Fill the bucket with soil and water to create a muddy consistency.
④ Cultivate in a sunny location, being careful to keep the water level from drying out.

From our experience growing rice, we find that it is not difficult.
We believe that rice plants adapt and grow according to their environment. For example, if you transplant fewer seedlings into the bucket, the rice plants will tiller and increase their number on their own.
Even if you don't know something, it's interesting to try it out.

We were able to harvest rice grown on dry land (upland rice). However, the yield was less compared to paddy rice.
- We cannot guarantee that all seeds will germinate, but we have been using these seeds to cultivate our rice paddy every year.
- The seeds may contain parts other than the rice seeds themselves. Some may also not be fully separated from the husk. Please separate them one by one when soaking.
- They will be shipped in a transparent zip-lock bag. No packaging is included.

We also have seeds for non-glutinous rice, and some in the form of rice stalks.
