pH Reducer (Sodium Bisulfate) [100g]

This is a water conditioner that lowers pH, offered as one 100g packet.
The ingredient is sodium bisulfate, a commonly used pH reducer.

Since Tetra's pH/KH Minus is quite expensive, I use this as a substitute, and thanks to it, I can now change my aquarium water without hesitation.
In my case, I put 50g of this product into a 250ml bottle of pH/KH Minus, then add water that has been boiled and cooled to near the bottle's opening to create a solution.
When making it in a 500ml bottle, I add 100g of this product.

I'm not knowledgeable about chemistry, so I cannot provide precise details about its properties. However, based on my daily use, I feel it has roughly the same concentration (effectiveness) as Tetra's conditioner.
I have been using it for a long time without any negative effects on fish, shrimp, or aquatic plants, but I cannot guarantee this, so please use it at your own risk.
Additionally, I recommend using a pH meter to measure while adding this product.

◎ Do not allow direct contact with alkalis, chlorine disinfectants (e.g., Neochlor, Highlight), bleaching powder (e.g., Hyクロン, Clear, Toyoクロン), sodium hypochlorite, etc. This may cause heat generation and the release of irritating decomposition gases, which is dangerous.
◎ This product is a fine powder, so be careful not to scatter it during use.
◎ Wear protective gear (goggles, mask, gloves) to prevent it from getting into your eyes or mouth. If it gets into your eyes, rinse with running water (tap water) for at least 15 minutes. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
◎ If it adheres to your hands or clothing, wash thoroughly with water.
◎ Keep out of reach of children.
◎ When disposing of this product, dissolve it in water, gradually neutralize it with a dilute alkali while agitating, and then dispose of it.
