[PSB: Photosynthetic Bacteria]
PSB refers to a group of bacteria that grow using light energy, either photoautotrophically or photoheterotrophically, in the presence of hydrogen, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon dioxide.
While the term bacteria might sound harmful, these are completely harmless. In fact, they are rich in amino acids, vitamins, and carotenoids, offering only positive effects.
For Medaka, PSB can promote growth, enhance coloration, and increase spawning rates. It is known to significantly improve the survival rate of fry when given as food.
Furthermore, they possess water purification properties by breaking down nitrates, which are a source of water pollution.
PSB can also be utilized as a liquid fertilizer for gardening, and for culturing Paramecium and Daphnia.

[Recommended Usage of Photosynthetic Bacteria]
For tanks 30cm or smaller (10-20L): 5ml during water changes, 0.5ml daily.
For tanks 30-45cm (20-40L): 13ml during water changes, 1ml daily.
For 60cm tanks (60L): 25ml during water changes, 2ml daily.
For 90cm tanks (180L): 75ml during water changes, 6ml daily.
For 120cm tanks (240L): 100ml during water changes, 8ml daily.
