Zelkova (with music)
For mini bonsai -
This is one Zelkova seedling for mini bonsai. There are slight traces of bending on the trunk and branches, but they should resolve as the trunk thickens.
Seeds were sown around spring 2023, then rooted and transplanted into plastic pots.
The seedling you purchase will be shipped in a pot, covered with sphagnum moss to prevent drying, and packed in a food container.
The small pot is planted with a mix of Akadama soil, Kiryu sand, or Ezo sand, so drainage should be good. However, if the roots have circled the bottom, you can repot at your own risk.
For some seedlings, the blackish substance on the soil surface or around the roots is fertilizer residue. If this bothers you, please gently remove it without damaging the trunk.

Basically, seedlings are shipped via Fourth Class Mail. Fourth Class Mail does not guarantee against wilting, delivery accidents, or allow for delivery date/time specification. Please be aware if you are often away from home.
Also, Fourth Class Mail takes more than 3 days. If you purchase between Thursday and Saturday, please understand that it may take up to 5-6 days depending on your region.
The image shows the seedling as of the morning of April 28, 2026. Please check the image for the seedling's height.
Plants grow daily, so please understand that there may be some changes between the actual product upon arrival and the current image.
