This plastic capsule container can be washed and reused multiple times, making it very convenient. You can enjoy not only commercially available capsules but also your favorite coffee beans and preferred grind. While it takes some effort to fill with coffee grounds each time and wash after brewing, the cost per cup is only for the beans. Depending on the beans used, it can be as low as about 30-40 yen per cup, which is less than 1/4 of the cost of official capsules.

[How to Refill with Commercial Coffee Grounds]
When using a reusable filter, the grind size of the beans is important. Keurig's brewing pressure is not as high as an espresso machine, but it is faster than drip coffee. Therefore, very fine grinds (for espresso) can cause clogging, so medium-fine to medium grinds are recommended. It's also recommended for mixed use, such as use K-Cups for convenience on weekdays and reusable filters with your favorite beans on weekends.
