It is characterized by its unique aroma and flavor from fermentation, and pairs well with greasy meals.

How to Break Apart a Pu-erh Cake:
Use a tea knife, also known as a tea needle, to peel apart the tea leaves from the round cake.
If you turn the tea over, you will find a hollow in the center. Use the Pu-erh knife to stab into the tea from the inside out, peeling it apart.
Once the blade is inserted to a certain extent, use the tip of the blade as a fulcrum and lift the handle side, like using a lever.
It is common to break apart the tea leaves horizontally. The tea leaves are layered like mille-feuille, so break them apart with the image of peeling off those layers.
Ideally, the Pu-erh knife should be inserted from the inside out, peeling off the layers of tea leaves.
A Pu-erh knife is best for this, but similar tools can also be used (e.g., carving knives).
Please be very careful not to injure yourself when breaking apart the tea cake.

How to Brew Pu-erh Tea:
Washing the tea involves placing the tea leaves in a teapot, pouring hot water over them, and then discarding the water after 10-20 seconds.
Place about 3.5g of tea leaves in a small teapot or cup, pour hot water (95℃-100℃), and brew to your desired strength.
