The vermilion clay was fired at 1100 degrees Celsius, then carbon-fired to change its color to black.

This is the Kuro-hen (black transformation) technique.

This is a pot where you can directly put coffee grounds inside the kyusu and filter them with the attached stainless steel tea strainer.

The hot water and coffee mix inside the pot, allowing you to fully enjoy the rich flavor.

The stainless steel tea strainer is specially designed to catch coffee grounds.

The lid and body are integrated through a grinding process. Therefore, the shelf support part is brown, but please understand that this is not a defect.

After use, please wash promptly (detergent is acceptable), rinse with water, and dry thoroughly. Please be careful when soaking in chlorine bleach, as it may leave a smell.
