They are sweet and ready to eat when they turn yellow and begin to develop black sugar spots.

Apple bananas are named for their refreshing tartness. They are characterized by their relatively small size. When ripe, their moderate tartness and sweetness will make you appreciate the rich banana flavor. This is still a rare variety in Japan.

*The images show the actual product: approximately 25 individual bananas, about 1kg including the box. They have many scuffs, scratches, and some smaller fruits, which is why they are priced very affordably. Please be aware of this.

Please check the images for scuffs, scratches, and size.

The black spots on the peel are from the sap that came out of the banana when it was detached. It is not mold.

*As these are grown without pesticides, some may have scuffs and scratches on the peel. Please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern.

*They will continue to ripen during transport. They may not arrive in the condition shown. Yu-Packet Plus often takes an extra day for delivery.

*The number of days it takes to fully ripen varies depending on various environmental factors such as temperature and humidity at the time, so I cannot provide an exact timeframe. In colder regions, they may not ripen properly. Please ensure you ripen them in a warm place.

*Depending on the timing of your purchase, we may change the shipping method to RakuRaku Mercari Bin.
