Double-edged saw, Togo steel, blade only
Togo Steel is a rare special steel imported from England in the early Showa period. It was named after Admiral Togo Heihachiro of the Meiji era due to its excellent sharpness and durability.
It is a fusion of Tamahagane (traditional Japanese steel) and Western steel, possessing the benefits of Japanese steel and the toughness of Western steel.
Furthermore, Betsu-uchi refers to a special process that involves extra effort and care in its preparation, unlike standard production.
The blade is freshly sharpened to 100% of its potential. Its cutting performance is approximately 70% for both cross-cutting and rip-cutting.
