The items are good quality, but the cost...
After my beloved cat underwent surgery to remove a mammary gland lump, she needed to wear post-surgery wear to protect the wound. I wasn't sure what to get, so I bought one from the hospital for 4,000 yen + tax.
It seemed comfortable, but it was expensive.
And then... the cat, wanting to groom herself and bothered by the wound, started gnawing at the clothes.
The fabric became tattered. I patched it up.
In the end, I bought 3 more.
During that time, I tried making simple post-surgery wear I saw online, and remaking clothes sold at 100-yen shops, experimenting...
In the end, I couldn't make anything comfortable, so I honestly bought from the hospital.

After making and having her wear them, I realized that depending on the location of the wound around the abdomen, especially near the base of the legs, it needs to be stretchy and form-fitting to accommodate a cat's stretching and contracting body.
I wondered how everyone else managed during these times...
Good products have a reason. I made this based on the post-surgery wear purchased from the hospital.
I focused on a certain degree of stretch, an open back for ease of movement, and the necessity of having spares.

Tried and Tested:
Cutting and tying shirts was stressful for both me and the cat, especially for active cats.
Cutting fluffy socks seemed easy, but it required many adjustments for the base of the legs and rear area cuts, which was burdensome for the cat.
