There are 3 play modes. In Game Mode, 5-Second Stadium, you press the switch on the top of the stopwatch-shaped main unit to start, and aim to stop it at exactly 5 seconds. The time you stop it at is displayed on the screen, and if it's perfect, you'll hear 5 seconds - Just! If there's an error, you'll hear lines from the 5-Second Man like You got it~, Too far off!, or Go home!

In addition, there's Practice Mode, where you play while watching the count on the screen, and Challenge Mode, where you try to stop within a certain time error, allowing you to enjoy play according to your level.

The appeal of this product lies in its addictive quality that makes you want to try again and again, and the sense of pleasure and accomplishment you feel when you stop it perfectly, which makes you unintentionally hooked.
