Inuyama Naritasan: Where History and Faith Intertwine
This is the Nagoya branch temple of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple (Narita City, Chiba Prefecture), the head temple of the Chisan School of Shingon Buddhism. The principal image is Fudo Myoo.
The main hall was built in October 1953, and on November 3rd of the same year, a grand ceremony was held for the consecration and inauguration of the temple.
Naritasan Nagoya Betsuin Daisho-ji Temple (commonly known as Inuyama Naritasan) was founded.
Since then, with the immense support of devotees from all directions, the temple grounds and buildings have been progressively adorned,
and it has now become the center of Fudo Myoo worship in the Chubu region.
