Kumidashi-zoroe is a set of 5 small, slightly oblong teacups (kumidashi) primarily used for serving Japanese tea such as sencha and gyokuro to guests.
They are typically served with coasters, such as lacquered or wooden ones, placed underneath.
With a diameter of about 7 cm, they could also be used as small bowls or sake cups (guinomi).
