Silk Wool Hand-sewn Cotton-padded Hanten (Japanese Coat) L

This is a hand-sewn cotton-padded Hanten (a type of Japanese winter coat) made from disassembled silk-wool Michiyuki coat fabric (outer fabric, tsumugi-style) and thick Doura (lining) fabric (lining, rapeseed flower color).
It has never been worn since it was made.
The Doura lining is hand-dyed (chemical dye). It seems to have a bit of synthetic fiber mixed in, resulting in even and beautiful dyeing.
I started sewing it thinking both the outer and lining fabrics were pure silk, but the needle was difficult to push through, so I determined it was not pure silk. Although the effort was the same, the price reflects this.
However, since I initially thought it was pure silk, it should be far superior to commercially available polyester Hanten.

The silk-wool outer fabric has some weaving irregularities. I have carefully removed any noticeable threads, but please forgive any that remain.

The hanging collar is made of navy blue fine corduroy.

The Hanten has wide armholes, so it doesn't feel constricting and has a warmth like being wrapped in a futon. To save on heating costs...

Please note that, like a lined kimono, it cannot be washed.
I think it would also be difficult to have it dry-cleaned because of the cotton filling.
Like drying a futon, exposing it to the sun will make it fluffy.

I am enjoying sewing this as a small contribution to a decarbonized society that I can do personally. If anyone likes it...
