A peeling facial cleanser for acne care.
Glyform 1300 uses 13% glycolic acid, an AHA peeling ingredient, instead of malic acid or lactic acid, which are commonly used in AHA peeling cleansers.
Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular weight among AHA peeling ingredients, making it excellent at penetrating the stratum corneum.
General animal-derived (e.g., beef tallow) facial cleansers can solidify sebum if the cleansing ingredients remain on the skin, which is said to cause blackheads and clogged pores. Glyform 1300 is based on plant-derived soap as its cleansing ingredient, rinses off easily, and leaves a refreshing feel.
