Size: 250mm (H) x 170mm (φ) Weight: 1650g Box not included.
This is a rare piece with a powerfully carved eagle. The coloring is kept to a minimum, and the finish is close to unglazed to bring out the warmth and simplicity of the clay. It feels invigorating just to look at it. There is an inscription on the bottom, but it is illegible.
Eagles, derived from their sharp eyesight and talons, symbolize the ability to see through things and to grasp and hold onto luck and happiness. They are also considered auspicious items for raising one's fortune as they fly high in the sky.
