Good luck! Morishio Set: Octagonal Morishio Mold + Octagonal Small Plate
10.00 $
Description
【Morishio (Salt Mound)】
Traditionally, piling coarse salt in a mound on a small plate and placing it in pairs at the entrance was believed to ward off evil spirits, prevent good fortune from escaping, and invite prosperity and customers.
(Good Fortune, Evil Warding, Business Prosperity, Purification, Romance)
【Octagon】
In Feng Shui, the octagon is said to have the power to attract all good fortune. It represents the universe not only in Feng Shui but also scientifically as the most stable shape for a pair. By incorporating the octagon shape into salt mounds, it is believed to maximize the effects of morishio, adjust the energy of your home, and improve your luck.

??Recommendation??
We highly recommend placing them in pairs and purchasing a set with one mold and two plates.
How to Use
Fill the mold with salt in three separate portions, pressing firmly to compact it. If the salt does not harden well due to storage conditions or type, you can lightly moisten it with a spray bottle before filling the mold to create a beautiful shape.
*Natural coarse salt is recommended, not chemical salt.
In my home, I make morishio daily or every 1-3 days after cleaning the entrance, placing one on each side. If daily is too much, we recommend changing it on the 1st and 15th of each month. It's also good to set your own rules for changing it as long as it's manageable.
(Also suitable for entrances, toilets, kitchens, bathrooms, and other water areas)
Due to the nature of the product, there may be variations in dimensions, color, and unevenness.
Small black spots may be visible; please enjoy them as part of the dish's character.
