These are Wacoal maternity shorts in gray. I mistakenly purchased the wrong size, so they are brand new and unused, with tags still attached.
I ended up buying and using the L size, and as expected from Wacoal, the water-repellent part was thin and breathable, and the waistband was wide and soft, so it didn't dig in, allowing me to spend my time comfortably.
After being discharged from the hospital, I recommend shorts without openings as they are less bulky and more comfortable.
I was able to get through a very difficult time comfortably and without stress, and since my belly remained large for a while, I ended up using them for about a month. I was glad I had bought good postpartum shorts. I highly recommend them.
