Niloak MCM, Rare Pottery Green Matte Bud Vase Pitcher. 1920s-1940s

Niloak

Description
Made from Kaolin fine Pottery Clay, Niloak was popular for its shapes and glazes until 1940 when it closed. Made in Arkansas, USA. These are hard to find now. In the height of its popularity, it was sold by the inch, not the piece! There is a museum dedicated to NilOak in Benton, Arkansas This bud vase has a few random marks on it and appears to have brownish spots, but I believe that is part of the glazing technique. I did not try to clean it. That’s up to you. Hyton pottery, Ewer Pitcher Benton, AR Museum Pieces
