This is a high-quality Genuine Amami Oshima Tsumugi silk kimono, custom-made for my husband about 30 years ago.
It has been carefully stored with the basting threads still attached, never having been worn. However, due to long-term storage, some stains have appeared.
Therefore, I am offering it at a bargain price for remake material/fabric use to someone who can appreciate its value.

■ Key Features (Attractiveness as Material)
Guaranteed Quality: This is pure silk, bearing the certificate from the Genuine Amami Oshima Tsumugi Cooperative Association and the Takumi Mark for traditional crafts.
Fabric Condition: As it is unused, the characteristic crispness and luster of Oshima Tsumugi remain intact.
Luxurious Lining: The haori (outer jacket) lining (gakubura) features a magnificent landscape painting, which alone can be used as a main part for a tapestry or bag.
■ Condition (Please be sure to check)
This is an unused item with basting threads, but it has the following flaws:
Haori: Light brown stain near the bottom of the center back (see image)
Kimono: Slight discoloration near the base of the right sleeve, visible only when light hits it.
Lining: Several faint stains and discoloration on the back.
* The item will be sold as-is, without stain removal. The price has been significantly reduced accordingly.

[Haori] Length 87cm / Sleeve to center back 72cm / Sleeve length 50cm
