Polaroid 600 Series Rare PEP Educator Edition Camera - Black

The PEP Educator Edition is an easy-to-use, point-and-shoot camera designed for beginners. Its technical specifications are largely the same as other basic models in the 600 series. Specs Details Film Type Uses Polaroid 600 instant film (color and black & white options are available today). The film cartridge also contains the camera's battery. Lens Typically a 110mm f/10 single-element plastic lens. Some models have a focal length of 106mm. Focus Fixed focus (generally from 4 ft to infinity). Many PEP models also feature a close-up lens adapter, which allows focusing from 2-4 feet. Exposure Control Automatic exposure with a manual lighten/darken slider for adjustment. Flash Built-in automatic electronic flash that fires with every shot but can be manually overridden in some versions. Shutter Speed Electronic, with automatic speeds ranging from approximately 1/3 to 1/200th second. Viewfinder Direct viewfinder. Design and Collectibility The Educator Edition shares the typical boxy, plastic body design of the 1980s-era Polaroid 600 cameras. Its unique PEP branding makes it a niche collectible item rather than a performance-focused camera. Functionally, it is comparable to many other cosmetically different but internally identical 600 models. This camera is in working condition with 9 photos left. We bought a pack of 10 and took a picture just to make sure. It comes with the film, original box, paperwork and polaroid carrying case.
