I used several sets for washing and changing for about two seasons. There are no noticeable stains or fraying, but there is some slight pilling and wear and tear due to washing and use.
Also, the elastic in the waist has stretched a little because I tied it to use it, so you may want to tie the elastic when adjusting it, or replace the elastic to get a perfect fit.
