Ginza Taishodo Raden Maki-e Hairpin (Kanzashi) Set of 2, Tsukishou Brand, Lacquerware, Antique, Japanese Accessories

【Product Description】
This is a set of two highly formal antique Kanzashi (hair ornaments) that were handled by Taishodo, a long-established store in Ginza, Tokyo.
The flat-hitting Kanzashi with black lacquer features delicate cherry blossom maki-e (lacquer painting) and raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) that shimmers with iridescence depending on the light. The authenticity of this item is confirmed by the inscription of the master craftsman Gessho on the back. The other Kanzashi has beautiful, elegant nashiji (pear-skin lacquer) with gold accents, which will elegantly enhance your Japanese attire.
Recommended for collectors or for special occasions such as Coming-of-Age ceremonies, weddings, and graduation ceremonies.
