A drape coat from the Mon (The Gate) series, crafted by Ichimoku, a workshop-based brand from Nijo, Kyoto.

This elegant coat drapes like a stole.
It can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender.
Characterized by its straight-line pattern derived from kimono construction and a beautiful silhouette that is complete just by putting it on.

Made from high-quality wool.
It does not have a lining, making it versatile from autumn and winter to early spring.

Its suppleness and drape create a long silhouette that doesn't feel heavy.
The subtle reveal of the lining with every movement adds a quiet presence and mature allure.

It would also suit a Japanese-Western fusion style or a Yohji Yamamoto-esque look.
While I'm not an expert, it might be possible to wear it over a kimono by folding the sleeves.

This was a gift in new condition, but I haven't had the opportunity to wear it myself, so it's in near-unused condition.

This is a handcrafted coat from Kyoto, offering a unique artisanal approach that cannot be replicated in mass production.
