Vintage Childcraft 4 Vol Set 2-5 Quarrie Red HC Children's Stories 1933 USA  Red cloth boards on all four volumes show moderate rubbing, small surface spots, corner bumps, and fraying at spine ends. One volume has heavy pencil scribbles on a front blank page; other interiors show light handling marks and age-toned pages. Bindings remain intact and legible throughout; set includes volumes 2 through 5 only, with no additional volumes included. Copyright page credits Childcraft to The Quarrie Corporation with a 1933 copyright and notes printing in the U.S.A., with additional copyrights to W. F. Quarrie & Company.  Each book is bound in textured red cloth with horizontal striping on the spine, black title panels with gilt lettering for the Childcraft series name and volume numbers, and matching decorative endpapers.  Front boards feature different pictorial cover designs in contrasting inks, depicting story scenes and characters appropriate to children's literature and verse.  Interior pages are printed in black ink with illustrated title pages, decorative borders, and small drawings accompanying the stories and poems.
