This is a haori himo (cord) for men.
This is a white haori himo worn as a chest cord when wearing a formal crested kimono (mon-tsuki hakama). It is a very popular haori himo for those who prefer the neat appearance of flat weave over round weave.
The tassels are a yorifusa (twisted tassel) type, which is easy to handle. Unlike cut tassels, they are less prone to creasing and require no special care.
