Hige Tsumugi Haori - Navy Blue - Compatible Height 163.5-168.5cm - Kendo/Iaido - 3102H

This is a pre-owned men's haori (traditional Japanese jacket) meticulously hand-sewn from higetsumugi (a type of silk fabric).

The material features unique, protruding threads, approximately 1cm to 1.5cm in length, creating an interesting texture that invites touch and offers a distinctive feel. (Please refer to the 10th photo.)

Among men's haori, which typically show little variation in material, this style with its distinctive, beard-like protruding threads is highly popular.

・We received requests from martial arts instructors (kendo, iaido, etc.) for garments that could be worn over their dogi (uniform) and hakama. We proposed options using fabrics such as Oshima tsumugi, Yuki tsumugi, and higetsumugi.

・We have also received requests for haori and nagagi (kimono) to be sold separately, and for guidance on how to choose the correct size.
