Plarail Advance ACS W7 Series Hokuriku Shinkansen Kagayaki IR Control Set - Complete Junk Item.
Non-operational. The W7 Series Kagayaki train unit (with IR chassis) did not respond to the controller even after inserting batteries and did not move at all.
The IR controller emitted infrared rays when batteries were inserted, and it responded to another IR chassis train unit that I own.
The power switch on the IR chassis has a poor feel and cannot be turned to the ON position.
No signs of battery leakage were found on the battery terminals of either the IR controller or the IR chassis.
Due to the above conditions, this item is being sold as a junk item.
Would be suitable for those who can repair it or for parts.
Not sold separately.
