Vintage 1980s Diane Freis Pink Floral Smocked Waist Flutter Midi Dress S

Absolutely fabulous vintage sheer midi length dress by famed designer Diane Freis circa the 1980s. Sheer bright pink with a slight cool magenta undertone, with a mixed contrast print of  blue and yellow flowers, black and white polka dot, and other tonal geometric patterns. Split ruffled neckline with tasseled ties, 3/4 puff sleeves, a stretch smocked waistline, and a tiered skirt that borders between a-line and circle in silhouette, so it has amazing movement. No size tag, but fits about like a contemporary US Small in my opinion. Due to the stretch smocking at the waist, there’s a good amount of flexibility, though the flat measurement pictured above is on the small side - it can stretch to about 17 inches across. Gently used.
