Vintage Egyptian Revival .800 Silver Scarab & Lotus Earrings — Cairo Hallmarked

Vintage Egyptian .800 purity silver dangle earrings featuring scarab beetles hanging from lotus petals. Features a row of three Egyptian hallmarks on the inside ear wire of one earring. From left to right the row of stamps are:  •Purity mark: Upside down V with two dots. Indicates .800 silver purity.  •Location mark: Cairo lotus assay mark, this mark was introduced in 1946 and replaced by lotus with dots mark in 1966. •Date stamp: mid century Egyptian date stamp. I cannot decipher exactly what year this between ‘46 and ‘66 this represents.  Measurements: approx 1.5” long.  Condition: Used, these have scratches and tarnish. There is also significant wear to the scarabs.
