Yanagisawa Tenor Saxophone T-901
This is a Yanagisawa tenor saxophone, model T-901, a model Japan is proud to offer the world. It is the predecessor to the current T-WO1 model. This model is characterized by its light response and ease of playability, thanks to its yellow brass construction. As the current T-WO1 costs over 500,000 yen, I believe a used T-901 is a great bargain.
It hasn't been used much since its last adjustment, so it plays very comfortably at the moment. Although this was a backup instrument, it plays as comfortably as my main instrument, which I just had adjusted. It's easy to play low notes, high notes, and pianissimo passages.
The exterior shows signs of use, some lacquer wear, and minor rust, but it feels to be in good condition considering its age. Please refer to the images for details. There are no dents that would be considered significant. Please consider this an instrument of its age, with the expected wear and tear.
This listing includes the saxophone body, a Yanagisawa genuine mouthpiece (#4), ligature and cap, and the original case. There are no accessories other than what is shown in the images. The case has some signs of use and scuffing, but it is perfectly functional for storage and transport.
I strive to provide honest descriptions, but individual perceptions may vary. Please consider purchasing only after acknowledging that this is a used item.
