The Prodige is a new alto saxophone developed by Buffet Crampon.
It is a new student model that fuses traditional instrument manufacturing know-how with digital design (C.A.D.).
This model is specially designed to be easy for players with small hands and younger generations to use, and can be used by a wide range of players, from beginners to advanced musicians.

Compact and Lightweight
Designed to meet the needs of players in their early teens as well as adults. The instrument has been made lighter to reduce the burden of weight, with particular consideration for the neck and right wrist.
The keywork is designed to fit smaller hand sizes and shapes.

Pursuit of Ease of Playability
Furthermore, it is easy to blow into and produce sound across all registers, especially in the lower register. Its robust and stable construction makes it suitable for young musicians who are not yet accustomed to handling delicate instruments, as well as for school equipment.

Beautiful Tone
Developed based on the design of Buffet Crampon's top-of-the-line saxophone, the Senzo, it achieves the brand's characteristic rich, harmonic, and beautiful tone. It allows for free playing and expands expressive possibilities.
Staff Comments

A soft, expansive sound. It blows smoothly with a consistent tone. It is an instrument that allows for free expression of the rich harmonics and beautiful, colorful tone that are characteristic of Crampon. It is a captivating model that we recommend not only for beginners but also for experienced players. It is the lightest model in the Crampon lineup, with improved operability and playing feel.

Purchased new in October 2025, but
due to circumstances, I haven't been able to play it much,
so I decided to sell it.
It hasn't been used much, so it's in good overall condition.
There may be minor scratches and dirt,
but there are no lacquer peeling, dents, or scratches.
Apart from some scuffing on the mouthpiece from the ligature,
the saxophone body itself is in beautiful condition.
