This is an Achilles LF-297.
I purchased it used and used it for 6 years.
It originally had a wooden floor, but it started to show some wear, so I later purchased a new air floor specifically for the LF-297. I will also include the original wooden floor.
There are no holes in the boat body or air floor that have been repaired.
I used it last week from 7 AM to 4 PM, and I didn't feel any air leaks.
The part connecting the air floor to the lid of the valve on the port side is torn, but this does not affect its use at all. Please replace it if you are concerned.
Regarding my repairs:
- The receiving part of the dolly mounting bracket on the port side was slightly dented, so I repaired it with wood putty and bolted the bottom. There is no problem with normal use.
- Since one of the dolly tires was damaged from the beginning, I replaced one tire with a new one 2 years ago.
It does not come with the original Achilles storage bag, but it is wrapped in a silver sheet. This makes it much easier to transport.
The wooden floor has cracks and the usual rivet peeling, so please understand that it can still be used as is.
I am selling this to upgrade from a 2-horsepower engine. The boat hull and air floor are made of durable CSM, and I believe they can still be used for a long time. I have only used it in freshwater. The previous owner also only used it in the sea once, and otherwise only in freshwater.
Personally, I think the condition is good, but please only purchase if you understand that it is a used item.
