Lovely Lady Grille Knives (Set of 8) Holmes & Edwards Inlaid Silverplate

Set of eight Modern Hollow Grille Knives in the Lovely Lady pattern by Holmes & Edwards Inlaid, a division of International Silver. Produced circa 1937-1959, this floral design features raised scrollwork along the handle. Each knife measures approximately 8 ½ inches long and has a stainless steel blade with a silverplate handle.  Good vintage condition with light wear from use. No monograms.   Founded in the mid-19th century and later acquired by International Silver, Holmes & Edwards became known for its elegant silverplate flatware, especially during the early to mid-20th century. The “Inlaid” line featured reinforced silver plating at wear points for added durability, making it a popular choice for both formal and everyday use.
