Description
Vintage silver plated footed vanity or serving tray featuring an ornate scrolled engraving and decorative handles. This piece has a unique military history, engraved with 'Kelly & Jan 6 July 85 3D BN, 10TH SFG(A)' commemorating a date related to the 3rd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). The tray sits on four small decorative feet and has a scalloped, rectangular shape. The silver plate shows significant natural patina and tarnish, giving it a moody, antique look, though it could be polished back to a shine. The handles are heavily detailed with a shell or fan-like motif. Perfect as a catch-all for jewelry, a bar cart accessory, or for a military memorabilia collector.
