Fire King Swirl White Milk Glass Mixing Bowl VTG 50s Oven Ware Made in USA 8.75”
Fire King
Beautiful vintage Anchor Hocking Fire-King Swirl white milk glass mixing bowl, manufactured by the Anchor Hocking Glass Company. This iconic piece of mid-century American kitchenware was produced primarily between 1949 and 1962. Key Characteristics: • Material: Opaque white milk glass (sometimes referred to as Anchorwhite). • Design Features: Features distinct raised swirls curving up the outside wall and a smooth, un-scalloped upper rim. • Collectibility: Originally sold as part of a multi-size nesting bowl set (typically ranging from 5 to 9 inches in diameter). • Care Instructions: While originally marketed as durable Oven Ware, vintage milk glass should always be hand-washed. Modern dishwashers will etch the surface, stripping away the shiny, glossy finish and leaving the glass permanently dull. • Beautiful shape for its age. No chips or cracks found. H12
