Vintage 1970s Jim Beam Kentucky Derby Bourbon Decanter
Wheaton
This specific 1971 Jim Beam Cobalt Blue Glass Decanter was produced as a commemorative piece for the Kentucky Derby. Starting in the 1950s and extending through the 1970s, Jim Beam famously partnered with designers to release these stylized, highly decorative bottles to capitalize on the growing hobby of collector clubs. Features an ornate, embossed scroll and geometric medallion pattern wrapping around the center. Made of thick, heavy pressed glass in a deep cobalt blue colorway. Typically stands at roughly 11.5 inches tall with the original stopper inserted. Retains its matching pressed-glass twisted round stopper resting on a natural cork base. This specific decanter from the Beam's Crystal Glass series was manufactured by the Wheaton Glass Company (later known as Wheaton Industries) for the James B. Beam Distilling Co. SEE photos of cork, it can be replaced. it0000 NO chips NO cracks H 11” W/base 3.5” W 2.1lbs Item Ships Alone
