This is the highly sought-after vintage Classic 7-inch (17 cm) Chai Dao (Model 4181), featuring the original, classic German Dreizack blade etching and the iconic red trident handle sticker preferred by collectors. A beautiful hybrid knife, the Chai Dao combines the shape of a traditional Chinese cleaver with a distinctly curved belly designed for a smooth, rocking chop. Precision-forged from a single piece of high-carbon German stainless steel, it features a full bolster for perfect balance and a triple-riveted handle. The hollow edge (granton dimples) creates tiny air pockets to prevent potatoes, veggies, and meats from sticking to the blade while you slice.
