Vintage, Autographed, North Carolina History, Boiling Springs area

Want this for less? Bundle!!!!  Born at the Crossroads, I found this book fascinating because I used to live in Shelby, NC, not far from Boiling Springs. Has a lot of unique historial references, pretty detailed. Written by O.P. Hamrick who passed in 1968. The Hamrick family was (perhaps still is) prominent in the area. There is mention of a doctor named Hamrick as well as a Hamrick owning a department store. This would be a great read for anyone in that area. I love the washed out edges on the covers and the whole look of this thick stapled paperback for home decor as well. There is a fairly lengthy inscription to previous owner by the author, on inside cover page. Wonderful personal touch. Please be aware that this book has a typical old book musty smell but I detect no mold. In good condition for age but cover a bit loose around staples and creasing, stains, etc. on covers.
