Sanderson & Son 12-piece stag handle steak service, made in Sheffield, England, complete with its original fitted presentation case, original Argyle Plate hang tag some original tissue.   This matched 12 piece set includes six stainless steel steak knives and six matching Argyle Plate silver-plated forks. All pieces are marked J. Sanderson & Son Sheffield England. Research indicates Argyle Plate was a J. Sanderson & Son trade name, making this an original matched Sheffield service dating to the 1950s.  The genuine matched natural stag handles display beautiful individual color and texture variations, making each piece unique while preserving the elegance of the set. The stainless blades are bright, the forks retain an attractive aged patina, and the original leatherette presentation case with satin and velvet interior presents beautifully.
