Vintage Japanese 8 Piece Hand-Painted Kutani Floral Lazy Susan Lacquer Base

This antique Japanese 8-piece Kutani lazy Susan set features hand-painted porcelain serving dishes with intricate multi-colored floral motifs, traditional Kutani artistry, and fine gold accents. The set includes seven removable petal-shaped porcelain sections arranged around a central round dish, all resting in a glossy black lacquered wooden base that smoothly rotates for effortless serving.  The floral patterns prominently feature peonies in vivid red, pink, and green, accented with gold detailing. Some sections feature cascading wisteria, bamboo, and stylized foliage, plus fine landscape scenes with mountains and trees. Each porcelain piece is edged with a rich brown-gold trim, and the multi-colored overglaze enamels typical of Kutani ware catch the light beautifully.  Designed for serving small appetizers, condiments, or sweets, with pieces that can be removed for easy cleaning and rearranging.  Condition: Excellent antique condition for age.
