Homco Cubist Clear Glass Fairy Lamp 2-Piece Vintage Fabulous Gift

Fairy lamps, originally developed in the late 19th century by Edward Moore for Thomas Webb & Sons, were designed to house small candles, casting a soft, ethereal glow. They typically consist of a base and a domed shade, though variations exist. These lamps became popular for their decorative appeal and the ambiance they created. Homco (Homeco) was a popular distributor of decorative home goods, particularly prevalent in the latter half of the 20th century. They offered a wide range of items, including figurines, wall decor, and glassware, often characterized by their mass-produced yet appealing designs. This particular glass piece, with its geometric facets, aligns with the style of decorative glass items Homco was known for.
