A beautiful vintage carved stone vase from Taiwan, crafted from what is commonly known as Seven Shade Iridescent Serpentine, also traditionally marketed as Seven Color Jade or Taiwan Jade. Standing approximately 4 inches tall, this charming little vase is remarkably heavy and substantial for its size. Its distinctive rounded form features a beautiful rolled rim, while the highly polished surface showcases the extraordinary natural colors and patterns within the stone. Depending on the light and viewing angle, the vase reveals rich shades of deep forest green, burgundy, plum, golden ochre, rust, charcoal, and black. The changing colors give the stone wonderful visual depth, making every side of the vase unique. The vase retains its original green felt-covered base and vintage “Made in Taiwan” label, adding to its collectible appeal. Its compact size and exceptional weight make it a wonderful example of vintage Taiwanese decorative stonework. Details: Approximately 4” tall. Heavy, solid carved and polished natural stone.
