The leather remains soft and supple, with all stitching and hardware intact. There are surface scratches and signs of use consistent with age.  Please note: This bag was originally produced in a teal leather color. Over time, the exterior has developed a rich charcoal/espresso patina from age and wear. The original teal color is still visible beneath the front turn-lock flap where the leather was protected from light and handling. This appears to be a naturally developed patina rather than a recoloring and gives the bag a unique, well-aged character.  The interior fabric lining has staining from previous use despite cleaning attempts. Please review all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description.
