Vintage Liz Claiborne Delights to a Tea Teapot Gold Geometric Squares

This vintage ceramic teapot is attributed to Liz Claiborne’s “Delights to a Tea” promotional collection. The low rounded body is decorated with a repeating geometric pattern of metallic gold tone squares alternating with smaller teal and orange diamond shaped accents. A coordinating motif appears on the lid. Its clean white background, glossy finish, and restrained geometric pattern give the teapot a playful postmodern look.  Research indicates that this design was produced for a Liz Claiborne promotional tea set associated with the Realities fragrance during the 1990s. This individual piece is unmarked, so the attribution is based on exact design matches and surviving references to the original packaged set rather than a maker’s backstamp.
