1St Issue Chatty Cathy Blond Blue Eyes with Freckles Original Outfit

This is one of the first Chatty Cathy Dolls. She dates 1959 or 60 what ever You prefer. She is NOT marked but has all the part number on her arms and legs. Left arm marked 43 right arm 82 right leg 64 and left 124. She features the soft face with hard body. The speaker box is cloth covered no stains. Her beautiful eyes are blue with hair lashes. I do not see any missing lashes. She also has the light freckles under Her eyes. The strawberry blond is still in original set it has not been cut. Her left Hand has the pointed finger. Her clothes are original to the doll but are not marked with a tag. The red jump suit still vibrant red very little fading. The apron and socks are also in very nice condition. Her shoes are original but one is a shade off in color but very close. I have not tried to put the shoes on are they are a .little brittle. If I were to keep this beauty is would find a newer pair for display and keep this pair of original shoes in tack. The last thing is yes she is a mute. The string and ring are there but she does not talk. The ring retracts properly. I know there is a lady on the web site that repair the voice box. She charged about 35.00 plus shipping. If I keep her i will have the voice box repaired. Please ask your questions as i want you to be happy with your purchase. You can find Similar dolls much cheaper but are they as nice as this one.
