Vintage 1930s Butterscotch Bakelite Floral Bangle Bracelet Tested

Estate jewelry tray inspection. Saturday afternoon.  You're holding a vintage 1930s butterscotch Bakelite bangle bracelet with hand-painted floral decoration and Art Deco era style.  A guy noticed it while pretending to understand early plastic jewelry. He asked if Bakelite was the one that smells expensive when you bother it. I ignored him. He returned with a vintage jewelry dealer, a collector with a flashlight, and one person who said butterscotch Bakelite should never be discussed casually. The bangle became the agenda.  Jayden Pimpleton picked it up and asked if tested Bakelite meant the bracelet passed math. He said floral bangles probably cheated on the written section.  I needed to be somewhere else.
