The roots of the CASSIN brand trace back to 1935 when Riccardo Cassin climbed the north face of the Cima Ovest di Lavaredo.
He founded an innovative mountaineering company with CAMP in 1952. CAMP merged with the CASSIN brand in 1997, focusing on crampons, harnesses, and bouldering gear.

These ice axes are no longer sold and are a rare find, only appearing in the used market.
