This is a solid pigment paint made by mixing pigments with glue, starch, and syrup, then kneading and drying it in a square dish. It is easy to use by simply tracing the surface with a water brush or wet brush, making it suitable for beginners in Japanese painting,絵手紙 (etegami - picture letters), sketching, watercolor painting, brush lettering, and more.
