【For Pickup by Ena Only】Oriente HO-58 Double Bass (A.D.1998)

Presenting the HO-58 from ORIENTE, a mid-grade model.
The HO-58 was apparently a flagship model for Oriente, loved by many, both professional and amateur. Its successor is the HB-65, which currently sells for around ¥700,000 (tax included).
The following is a description of the successor, HB-65, but the basic specifications remain unchanged.
Lower-class models than the HB-65 use a slightly harder varnish to prioritize protection, making them easier to handle in educational settings. However, from the HB-65 onwards, a traditional alcohol varnish is used, considering the instrument's resonance for various musical settings, including professional use. It is carefully applied to highlight the grain of the top plate, using fine wood that exhibits beautiful figuring.
Upon acquisition, there were cracks at the upper joints of the side plates near the f-holes, which have been repaired at a workshop (Photos 10 & 11). Additionally, the nut and bridge have been adjusted to modify the string height, and the soundpost position has also been adjusted, making it easy to play.

Delivery by a shipping company is not possible, so it is listed as [Direct Pickup]. However, for locations within Yamagata Prefecture or nearby prefectures (south of Akita City in Akita Prefecture, north of Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture, north of Niigata City in Niigata Prefecture, etc.), delivery to the nearest designated location is possible for actual travel expenses, including fuel costs. For locations along the Tohoku Shinkansen line, delivery to the nearest Shinkansen station is possible for actual travel expenses. (Even in Tokyo, delivery to stations like Ueno is possible.)
Trial play is also accepted. Trial play can be arranged at my residence in eastern Sakata City or western Osaki City. If you wish to try the instrument in Osaki City, there will be a venue rental fee of ¥500 per person (plus ¥500 for each accompanying person).
